Where we stayed: Avenida Palace
Where we visited: Las Ramblas, La Boqueria Market, Park Güell, La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Olympic Park, Mercat dels Encants and the beach (of course!)
Where we ate: Maoz Vegetarian, Dostrece.  I can't remember all the restaurants we ate at as we visited last year, but I always use this website to find vegan restaurants before I travel.
However Barcelona was amazing for vegan food in most restaurants, I even managed to get vegan paella.

Barcelona was the last stop on my travels around Europe last summer, and currently still holds the spot of my favourite European city. It was full of amazing shops, good vegan food, beautiful beaches, cute markets, for me it felt like a combination of New York and London. I just loved it.
We also stayed in a gorgeous hotel which I could have happily lived in. The architecture was beautiful, the rooms big and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The city itself made me feel so happy and content; of course I made sure to do all the usual touristy stuff, like visiting La Sagrada Familia,  but in all honesty I enjoyed wondering the streets and taking in the city just as much.

  1. Hey Katie, you lovely thing! Thank you so much for the nomination, it was so lovely of you, and therefore I've nominated you right back, so I of course wish you good luck! And also i'm incredibly jealous of all your travels, they've given me a horrible sense of wanderlust, and I now want to spend all my money on plane tickets, so thanks for that! <3

    1. It's no problem at all, you deserved it! Barcelona is amazing, if you ever get the chance you should definitely visit, although I'm sorry if I do make you spend all your money on plane tickets :')
